The
term
"Ill Defined Margin" for intraosseous lesions indicates
that the edge of the lesion blends in with the normal bone such that it is not
possible to accurately draw a in line between normal and abnormal bone. For
extraosseous lesions this term refers to the unsharpness of the outer margin of
the mass. If the lesion is ill defined in some parts and well defined in others,
then select the feature which is more predominant.
